Blog #1: Good vs Bad Packaging...

Ok... BAD PACKAGING...

So these cookies are good… but they arent very useful to carry around in the bag they come in.. I do carry them around and they usually spill in my bags. I wish there was some kind of a seal to put on it so it wont fall apart…

As you can see the package, SADAF Persian noodles comes just in a regular box, there is no special package or plastic to keep it from getting spoiled or if something spills on it, the noodles will not be protected, instead it will be contaminated. Even if there was a plastic, there would be no need for the box.

OK the cheese puffs, well for one thing, the bag is not resealable and it should be resealable to maintain the flavor. Often times, people use clips to keep it fresh...

NOW ON TO GOOD PACKAGING....

This grab and go juice is very nice, It is shaped in a way that consumers can have a good grip on it. Very small and convenient for on the go…

The DeliShaved Turkey Breast is pretty convenient packaging due to the fact that it is resealable to keep it very fresh. The plastic package is also flexible as consumers use it up, it uses less space. It is very convenient to put in any part of the fridge, upside down, sideways, etc, it will stay fresh and wont make the fridge smell bad due to it being resealable.

Ok so I really like this packaging... It is only available in singapore from my information. The nice thing about the container is the way it opens. It seems easy and ready to go... It also makes being healthy looks very attractive...

  1. The bad -the cookies, I know those kind that don't have a reseal so you would have to use a rubber band or if it breaks and you open it, it spills.

  2. I agree with your comment on the persian noodles. I think it would be a better idea if there was no box like you said. This way it could last longer. The design is also very plain. It could use some more colors.

  3. yeah those Maria cookies are good but they get stale so fast because there's no way to reseal the package..

the juice looks pretty cool, it looks like it has a cork in it and some sort of wine opener looking thing attached to it... neat.

  4. The juice bottles are very appealing, they look like something a person would buy, as Joe said, "For status". I like the fun colors.

  5. Those juice bottles are a great example of simplistic design that results with a very attractive package.
