Updated Green Tea Bigelow Package...

So I updated the look a little bit and added floral patterns to make it more interesting...

  1. Good idea! Floral patterns really make the package more interesting! I like the colors too, perfect match for green tea. The shape of a die cut is a big improvement as well; now it looks more like a leaf than water drop. However, I would change the relation (size and space) between the graphic elements; now they are evenly spaced out so it creates very static composition. I would try to enlarge some of the floral patterns and screen them back. Also, I would work more on the "Green Tea" line, maybe one line of more interesting typeface?

  2. I think that if you have those floral elements you dont need the green crosshatching above the light band at the top. Its also really hard to see them so thats even more reason to just take them away, I dont think theyre adding anything to the brand. I do agree that the floral elements should be screened back so as to not draw attention from the more important elements.

  3. I like the flowers, but I'm wondering what the other versions of the teas are going to look like. Also, does tea have flowers? Maybe just leaves would be better? That might be a mute point, just something to think about. Lastly, I still don't think the leaf shape really reads as a leaf. The horizontal lines make it look like a lantern.

  4. I like the color you selected. I would like to see the other colors you might be using to see how they all tie in together. Also.... i would maybe work on the hierarchy of the fonts a little. Other than that its looking good.

  5. Well done. I really like your design. I like the color combination you have selected. They work very well together, specially for a box of tea. I love the flowers you are using. I think it has given it a very unique and interesting look. One thing I would probably consider changing is to move the green line that's overlapping the flower on the bottom. It kind of distracts the eyes. Other than that, great job.

  6. I really like the floral print. The leaf needs work. I agree with hedyeh on the green line its distracting.

  7. I like the addition of the floral pattern but I disagree w Hedyah about the green line. The interaction of the flowers and graphics - sometime over, sometimes under gives the illusion of depth. It would be flat without it. I don't think the crosshatch pattern is adding much, however,

  8. Earth tones are great!
leaves/flowers are a good idea. I would vary those when you present different kinds of flavors/essences. If it's jasmine, resemble that flower.
